2026 Baseball Cards — Hot or Not?

Baseball card season is in full swing and 2026 is shaping up to be a wild year. We've been moving a lot of baseball singles lately so let's break down what's hot, what's not, and where the smart money is right now.

🔥 HOT RIGHT NOW

Shohei Ohtani

No surprise here — Ohtani is still the king of the baseball card market. His 2026 Topps Chrome Blue Refractors are commanding serious prices and moving fast. We recently sold a #91C-47 numbered to 119/150 and the demand is as strong as ever. If you can find his numbered parallels at a reasonable price, they're worth holding.

Jacob Misiorowski

This is the name to know right now. The Brewers pitching prospect has collectors paying attention — his 2026 Topps Rainbow Foil is already moving and if he makes a strong MLB debut, these early cards are going to look very good in hindsight. Get in early on rookie pitchers with this kind of buzz.

Numbered Parallels Under $50

The sweet spot in the current market is numbered parallels in the $20–$50 range. They're liquid, they're tradeable, and they hold value better than base cards when the market shifts.

❄️ NOT RIGHT NOW

Base Cards of Established Veterans

Unless it's a rookie card or a short print, base cards of players who have been in the league for 5+ years are tough to move right now. The market is chasing rookies and numbered cards.

Ungraded Vintage

Raw vintage cards are a tough sell unless they're in exceptional condition or from a highly sought-after set. If you're sitting on raw vintage, it might be time to consider getting them graded.

What's Coming

2026 Topps Series 2 is expected around mid-June and that's always a big moment for the hobby. We'll have updates as the release gets closer. In the meantime, browse our current baseball selection — we've got a solid mix of 2026 Topps singles ready to go.
